The Supremacy with Specific reference to dhEvathAs is established in the fourth pAsuram with the first line starting as indhiraRkum biramaRkum mudhalvan thannaiஇநà¯à®¤à®¿à®°à®±à¯à®•à¯à®•à¯à®®à¯ பிரமறà¯à®•à¯à®®à¯ à®®à¯à®¤à®²à¯à®µà®©à¯à®¤à®©à¯à®©à¯ˆEmperumAn is Supreme to indhran and BrahmA. The analytical mind of Sri PeriyavAchAn PiLLai is now put to work. He questions when BrahmA is a superior deity as compared to indhra , why should Kaliyan mention IndhrA first and then BrahmA? When it comes to Supremacy of the Lord, be it BrahmA or indhra all are one and they are virutally equal. The next query raise is -Why then Rudhran is not included in this list ? Why it is not mentioned as indhraRkum-rudhraRkum-brahmarkum mudhalvan " This is because Rudhran is creation of BrahmA and therefore Supreamcy over BrahmA atumoatically includes that or Rudhran Next question asked is: Why 'Indirar-Brahmar' -why not indiran and brahamn Normally when the 'ar' suffix is added to a noun it indicates respectfulness. Here respect is rejected right away by the commenatator pUjyathAl alla. Not out of respect -points out Sri PeriyavAchAn piLLai. The questions posed by the commenatator are all answered by himself. We the ordinary mortals may not even know to ask such doutbs ,then what to talk of giving clarifications.
