Dear Friends,

I am planning to visit Srirangam and other divyadesam around tiruchy during end of December. I would like to know if "Thailakappu" would be on and cannot see the God. If so when will it start and end, is it generally for all divyadesams?

Thank you

Dear friends,

Can we see the moolavar of all divya desams in Tirchy between 21-22 Dec 08? Some people are saying Thailakappu will be done during this time and cannot see the moolavar. Can anyone give us the temple timings of divya desams in tiruchy?

Thank you

Sincerely,

Radha

Srimathe Ramanujaya Nama:

In this regard adiyen wishes to humbly submit that the Lord has pointed out what is good and what is not and has shown the means whereby we can comply with and desist from doing certain things. He leaves the choice for man to act as he chooses in freedom. It is for us to avoid asuric acts. In this particular aspect of freedom to man, it is the man who causes the act and he is to reap the final result. The Lord's merciful intervention at the time of difficulties is when he consciously realises his follies and prays earnestly for His benevolence, that too depending upon the person's prarabtham.

Adiyen may kindly be corrected and further clarified as may be right. Pranams.

The conviction that the Supreme Being is the Sole Ruler and Protector of this world applies in all cases. It is not so much a case of destiny; it is He and He Alone who guides all through this life and thus, serves as both the result and the action that leads to that result. Some He deems should know Him as being everything, the Way, the Goal, and the One who makes us aware of these. Others know Him to be the Goal, but cannot understand that it is He Who is the Goal, but do not see Him as being the Way. Others do not even know Him, limiting their search for the Divine to other deities, or perhaps god-men as mere kamya-phalam. And then, there are those beings, both human and otherwise, who could care less about the Divine. But, these complex natures that are the product of the Gunas that He

creates in us are His Design, and they have nothing to do with His Desire to Save. So, our knowledge of Him does nothing to save us; it is a gift that He provides to those whom He deems require it.

I hope this helps.
