Dear All, Gita Jayanti propagates the teachings of Srimad Bhagavad-Gita, and is the largest singular event held in Singapore on a national scale, where all 18 chapters of the Gita are recited and oblations offered into 18 Havan Kunds by the public for each of the 700 verses. This has been a true success for the last 12 years in Singapore . This year¢s celebrations will come to a GRAND FINALE on 15 Feb 2009 (Sunday) with Ganapati Homam, Sri Krishna Pooja with Ashtottaram and Full Gita Chanting with havan for each sloka and Poornahuti, followed by Maha Prasadam at Sri Srinivasa

Perumal Temple premises from 7am to 1pm. In conjunction with the main event, there are also various competitions for children and youth like Gita Chanting, Essay writing, Orotorical, Gita Quiz and Gita Champion.

All winners would be awarded with certificates, trophies and attractive prizes. There are also participation prizes for all those who register.
