However, the essence of the discussion was to ensure file attachments are not lost for Groups digest/web users. For that reason, I also normally recommend Word/PPT attachments hosted to Google Docs or Zoho so that costly downloads by the users can be done away with besides helping out users who are still stranged with sick and old dialup connections.
