WATER-SHEDDING FROM FEATHERS

It is most unfortunate that most of the people chant TiruppAvai and TiruppaLLiezhuchi wihout proper santhai.

The padha santhai is most important and it does not mean that this is exempt for TiruppaLLiezhuchi or TiruppAVai.

I have heard the chanting of words -mirunjirukudhari- and sometimes as murumsirakkudhari -resulting in odd sounds.

What does the word actually mean -mirunjarukudhari?

We must have seen birds flashing their feathers to wither off the water on the feathers. These water actually had accumulated due to the dew in the night.

Dear Sir,

Greetings to you. You are very much right in your view. Unless you know the meaning of each of the aruliseyal - one will not be able to really enjoy the same.

for this i recommend reading the VYAKGNANAM (the literal meaning of each of the aruliseeyal by periyavachan pillai or krishnamachari iyengar )

this will help us know how to split the coined words in the poetry and chant the same and should liesten to the cd of M.A,Venkatakrishnan gosti,

i have completed close 1000 in three months time with the help of the above, and was able to know the meaning also by reading the book.

the above is my anubhavam, and thought i can share the same
