Guest guest
The Monkey deputed by The Lord In Srirangam, in one of the spiritiual lectures, it was said that the Lord who had deputed the creature (monkey) to vanquish ravanA, is our refuge. Unfortunately, this is not the actual meaning of the pAsuram. The Lord Sri RamA who had kept his bow and arrow on HIs hand, is our refuge. How come the bow had become a creature? Let us see the pAsuram: than vilangai vaithAn charaN.mudhal tiruvandhAdhi-59 தன௠விலஙà¯à®•à¯ˆ வைதà¯à®¤à®¾à®©à¯ சà¯à®°à®£à¯-à®®à¯à®¤à®²à¯ திரà¯à®µà®¨à¯à®¤à®¾à®¤à®¿ While being split properly would read as than vil angai vaithAn charaN. தன௠வில௠அஙà¯à®•à¯ˆ வைதà¯à®¤à®¾à®©à¯ சà¯à®°à®£à¯-à®®à¯à®¤à®²à¯ திரà¯à®µà®¨à¯à®¤à®¾à®¤à®¿-59 The Lord with the divine weapon is our refuge. Hence, it would better be properly informed about text and vyAkyAnam before giving such general meanings.
