Guest guest
Dear All,The following is a poem based on the reply given by Sri V. Sadagopan mama on Nov 10 Fri, 1995. KRISHNA I salute… The most ancient Preceptor, The consort of Kamala and protector, The beginningless and Vedas propagator, The PancharAtra SastrA’s author. The revered all-attractive Lord,The supreme infallible God, The granter of boons like a celestial tree,The supreme bliss of mother Devaki. The son of pious soul Vasudeva,The destroyer of the evil Kamsa. The one that Maruts praise with their divine hymn,The redeemer for those, who surrender unto Him. The creator of Brahma, Varuna, Indra and Rudra,The giver of ambrosial Nectar known as Gita. The one whom all the singers of Saama sing, The one whom the Vedas in their entirety sing. The divine cowherd milking the Vedas and Upanishads,The one identified as the most sacred by the Upanishads. The compassionate one who makes the mute wax with eloquence,The one who drives away the thick and dark clouds of ignorance. The one who helps to accumulate all types of wealth,The one who acts as the panacea and grants health. The one seen by Yogis with perfection in meditation,The one who is the cure for worldly affliction. The one who can surely vanquish one's inner enemies in verity,The one whose limit the hosts of Devas and Asuras know not for certainty! The holder of the symbolic posture connoting wisdom by one hand,The wielder of cane to herd the cows on the other hand! The master and teacher of the entire universe,The creator and preceptor of the entire universe. The embodiment of Existense, Knowledge and Bliss,The all pervading one whom sages did reminisce. The saviour who permits the cripple to cross mountains. The one because of whom Chanura had to call it curtains. M. VIJAYARAGHAVAN
