Simple VS Special words

The wonderful Periya Tirumzohi sEvakAlam was going on. The paramswara viNNagara pAsuram commenced and the words

solluvan soRporul ... rang in our ears.

solluvansoRporuL thAn avaiyAi, suvai vURoli nARRamum ThORRamumAi..--Periya Tirumzohi 2-9-1.

சொலà¯à®²à¯à®µà®©à¯à®šà¯Šà®±à¯à®ªà¯Šà®°à¯à®³à¯ தானவையாய௠சà¯à®µà¯ˆà®µà¯‚றொலி நாறà¯à®±à®®à¯à®®à¯ தோறà¯à®±à®®à¯à®®à®¾à®¯à¯..பெரிய திரà¯à®®à¯Šà®´à®¿ ௨-௯

Sri Mahdavan svami who is my regular gOshtimate- whispered in my ears, it is not solluvan soRporul but

sollu, vansoRporuL.

The Lord is governor (நிரà¯à®µà®¾à®¹à®•à®©à¯) of all the words , the sensory effects and so on, spells out our beloved Tirmangai Azvar.

solluvan soRporuL would thus reflect the Lord being in the words spelt out.

However, the chanting as sollu, vansoRporuL would mean

sollu-ordinary word

vansollu-specail words.

ordinary words are like கலà¯, மண௠and so on which are transitory in nature.

specail words are vansol which are not just transient but permanent

These are vEdic verses which are permanent (இத௠தனà¯à®©à®¿à®²à¯à®®à¯ நிதà¯à®¯à®®à®¾à®©à¯ வேதமà¯)

vaNsoRpoRuL-The inner meanings of VEdic verses.

These are Vedic verses -permanent in nature.

Should we also not chant in future as

sollu-vansoRporuL thAnavaiyAi

சொலà¯à®²à¯-வனà¯à®šà¯Šà®±à¯à®ªà¯Šà®°à¯à®³à¯ தானவையாயà¯..

dasan

vanamamalai padmanabhan
