Dear Sir

In my opinion we should ignore such comments. I am not saying this because I am afraid to confront or something like that. If we give much importance to the people who try to ridicule , they may only multiply. Govt order also may not help.

Instead Sri Vaishnavas can actively encourage the habit of wearing the ThiruMankappu - "with Pride" within our families and spread the significance as highlighted by you, in youngsters in our families. I have started that practice on myself & my 7 year old son on all festival occasions which we celebrate - irrespective of Sree Jayanthi or Vinayaka Chathurthi or Saraswathi Puja !!

We should ignore, and go about with pride respecting the adorning of Tiruman on all days. Unfortunately even thesedays there is infight in many places of the Tengalai and

vadagalai sects. We should unite and respect our fellow srivaishnavites.
