Dear Bhagavatas,

Here is a lovely video clip from tirukkuDanthai -

resplendent Sri ArAmudAzhwAn’s tIrthavAri (during pavitrOtsavam in

July 2009). I am sorry I could not hold the video camera

steady at times, especially during some close-up shots. Hope this does not

negatively impact your anubhavam.

I have spliced a few tiruppAsurams from the

heart-rending nirvEdam padigam (Periya tirumozhi - 1-1) of Sri

Triumangai AzhwAr rendered in a really poignant fashion by VaikuNTha

Vaasi Sri Sriram Bharathi.

I wanted to highlight a few specific instances of the

spell-binding anubhavam. In the first tiruppAsuram, at 1:05 you hear the

words “நாடினேன௠நாடி நான௠கணà¯à®Ÿà¯ கொணà¯à®Ÿà¯‡à®©à¯â€

and at the same time you get a stunning close-up of His tirumugam!

In the second tiruppAsuram (mangaLAsasAnam of

tirukkuDanthai), at 1:58 you hear the words “நாவிநாலà¯

உயà¯à®¯ நான௠கணà¯à®Ÿà¯ கொணà¯à®Ÿà¯‡à®©à¯â€Â 

and at the same time you get a stunning close-up of PirATTi on His

tirumArbu!

At 2:12, when you hear the words நாராயணா எனà¯à®©à¯à®®à¯

நாமம௠and again, at the

same time you get a stunning close-up of His tirumugam! Finally, at 2:27, when you

hear the words நாராயணா எனà¯à®©à¯à®®à¯ நாமம௠and this time, you get a stunning close-up

of His tiruvaDittAmaraigaL!
