Guest guest
உய௠மறை The final day of mAmunikaL sAthumuRai gOshti was wonderful. The final day puRappADu highlight was as usual ramanuja nUTrandhAdhi. when the 95th pAsuram was being chanted one peson was chanting 'maRai nAlum ' and another was chanting 'vui maRai nAlum'. மறை நாலà¯à®®à¯ ------------உய௠மறை நாலà¯à®®à¯ The prima- facie conclusion would be one must be worng. A look into the commentary makes this more interesting. (From kAcnhi svAmi \s nithyAnusandhAnam) Sri maNavALa mAmunikaL in his explanation has givien the words 'sarvOjjEvanamAna sAsthrangaL' ’ஸரà¯à®µà¯‹à®œà¯à®œà¯€à®µà®©à®®à®¾à®© ஸாஸà¯à®¤à¯à®°à®™à¯à®•à®³à¯â€™ meaning thereby that Sri Ramanuja nurtured the SAsthrAs, by interpreting the Vedic verses in proper perspective paving way for the souls to get upliftment. The word vui -vui is to referring to this. Further, as per Tamil yAppilaKKaNam-for kaTTaLai-k kalithuRai the pAsuram commencing with nEar -should have sixteen syllables. நேர௠பதினாறெனà¯à®ªà®°à¯‡ so if the word 'vui' is present these two requirements are fulfilled. dAsan vanamamalai padmanabhan
