Dear Sir,

The Prabandhas were gifted to us by the Azhwars only to ensure that all can have access to these rich treasures. Thiruppavai is one such treasure which can be enjoyed by anyone.

The restrictions are meant only for the Vedas in Sanskrit language. There are restrictions for the recitation of the Prabandhas during certain times - called as Anadhyayana kaalam. Thiruppavai can be recited on all the days of the Maargazhi month. You can recite some Thaniyans on Andal before the recitation of Thiruppavai; and you can end with the recitation of some Thaniyans of Andal. No other restriction is there on the recitation of Thiruppavai.

With regards

Murali

Sir Sundar,Your query is so, polite full and more understandable.......On his avatar Swami Ramanujar, had exposed the secrets of many things to all people, without any deviation in Caste system....Now all our vaishnava's are great follower of Swamiiiii.So, their is no any restriction to study Divya prabantham....But restrictions are their respect to studying time!!!! but not with caste and people....Also found on many temples,where they use to provide books to public during the Thirupavai function, and collect the book after the function.....If their is no restrictions on temple means.... then such such question should not rise from our heart......Continue the good work!!!!!!!!

JSN ( Jay Shriman Narayan) ;

YES YOU CAN READ AND FOLLOW TIRRUPPAVAI

I am not Brahmin.  I am a ShriVaishnava by samashrayanam.  If you are also

Samaashrit, there should not be any question.  But I think you are not, that

should not preclude you to know Tirrupaavai and DivyaPrabandham. Today you can

know and read these scriptures in many languages and the readers are not all

initiated in Vaishnavism. So when you are so much believer of Shriman Narayan,

why not?

I am not anyone who can decide, but these are my views.

In Tiruppavai, Goddamma writes about the Gopa and Gopies who are not Brahmins,

nor educated in scriptures. So was not Kannan at that time.  He was

Gop(cowherd boy) with them., but they knew HIM as ParamBrahma Shriman Narayan.

So they could meet HIM.
