Hello Raju sir,

 

Hope u remember me.

 

I would like to include 2 temples at karnataka.

 

I visited to a narasimhar temple here near Bangalore imagining as if it

would be like Sholingar when I heard the name Yoga Lakshmi Narasimhar.

But to my surprise it was no lesser than Ahobilam. The neighbouring

hill was called Siddhar betta and u will be stunned to see an entrance

of a rare place called namada chilume where water seeps out fastly from

a rock thereby forming a big lake!!The entrance has got a arch similar

to thaniparai at Sathuragiri. No wonder it is a perfect siddhar place.

Near to that place is Bhoga LakshmiNarasimhar and at the peak of the

hill it is Yoga lakshmi narasimhar with all alzhwars around. This place

is very highly placed and has to travel by vehicle and then climb up

the steps. A fine road is laid and even government buses reach this

place. Amazing place!! The rock that is close to the temple resembles a

majestic lion and one can even appreciate the rock formation.

 

The exact place is called DEVARAYANA DURGA- it is situated at TUMKUR a place around 80 km from Bangalore.

 

Another temple is called Savana durga which also has a famous Lakshmi Narasimhar Temple.

 

If you could access google earth I think you can locate and add these places to the map.

Please include the following temples from Andhra.

1. Vedagiri Narasimha Swamy temple (Narasimha Konda, Nellore town, AP)

2. Penusila Narasimha Swamy temple (PenchalaKona, Nellore Dt, AP)

3. Varaha Narasimha & Tatha Narasimha Swami Temple (Singarayakonda, Ongole Dt, AP). This kshetram is also called as Dakshina Simhachalam as both Varaha and Narasimha are residing in same temple.

you may also include laxmi narasimhaswamy temple at Yadagirigutta, about 60 kms from secunderabad
