Later in the day , the remaining slOkams ( 94-102) of Sri Varadaraja Stavam will be covered with the Lord's grace and bring this kaimkaryam to completion and prepare it as Volume II of the ebook in Sri Hayagrivan series ( http://www.srihayagrivan.org) . Volume I of the Sri VaradarAja Stavam of KurEsar has been archived as the 62nd ebook in the Ahobilavalli ebook series( 135 pages) and has a special Introduction along with the detailed coverage of the first 18 slOkams (http://www.ahobilavalli.org ) . The Volume II that is ready fro release will cover slOkams 19-102 in Srihayagrivan.org . The attached 93rd slOkam write up is for your enjoyment today since it is a very special slOkam for Sri VaradharAja DhyAnam . It belongs in the nityAnusandhAnam category . Our team has released three other stavams of Sri KurEsar already in the Sundarasimham and Ahobilavalli ebook series : Sri Stavam ,atimAnusha Stavam and Sri Vaikunta Stavam . After completing the Coverage of Sri VaradarAja Stavam , adiyEn seeks the anugraham of ThirumaalirumchOlai Azhagar to complete the second volume of Sri SundararAja Stavam. NamO SrI VaradarAjAya, DhAsan , V.Sadagopan SlOkam 93: This is one of the most moving prayers that we should include in one's nityAnusandhAnam . (Meaning): Oh Most Merciful One (DayALO) ! Oh PeraruLALaa ! Oh the ocean of forbearance (Kshamaa NidhE) ! Oh Lord who confers boons and especially auspicious boons for all bhakthAs (ViSEshatO Viswajaneena ) ! Oh Lord who grants the varams that people desire (Visvata)! Oh Lord who understands what would result in hitam for Your bhaktAs and grant those boons ( Hitaj~na) ! Oh Omniscient One ( Saravaj~na) ! Oh Omnipotent One , who is able to carry out anything You wish through Your valour ( Samagra Saktika ) ! Oh VaradharAja ! Please take me away from engagement in sinful acts and bless adiyEn only to be Your DhAsan ( Maam prasahya tE dhAsyam yEva prApaya) ! (Commentary): In the previous slOkam , KurEsar said that he has sought the Lord ( VaraNam) to have His blessed darsanam ( saakshAthkAram). We may be led to think from that request that KurEsar wanted his physical eye sight back . To avoid any confusion in this matter , KurEsar hurries to say that he only desires the dhAsyam of the Lord to perform kaimkaryams to Him . This prayer is like Swamy NammAzhwAr's prayer for serving the Lord ( ThiruvAimozhi: 10.4.6) : " thoNDE seythu yenRum thozhuthu vazhiozhuha paNDE Paraman paNittha paNi vahayE ". DayaaLO ! = When one examines the meaning of the uttara kaNDam of Mantra Ratnam ( dhvayam) , we understand that this sambhOdhanam addresses the Lord's consort , PerumdEvi ThAyAr as well ( KaruNAmiva RoopiNam , dEvyA kaaruNyaroopayaa , krupayaa ParyapAlayath ). KshamaanidhE = This samBhOdhanam also refers to Bhumi DEvi ( SrI BhUmi Sahitam Harim ) and ANDAL (SaakshAth Kashamaam). In PaadhukA Sahasram , Swamy Desikan alludes to the guNam of Kashamaa (yath krupaa pratighAtAnAm Kshamayaa vaaraNam maya). In Kshamaa ShOdasi , we find another reference to the Devi's Kshama : " Thvath svAtnatryam apOhya kalpita jagath kshEmAtihrudhyaa svata: KshaantistE karuNaa sukhee vijayatAm kshEmAya sarvAtmanAm). ViSEshata Viswajaneena = SrivatsAnkAcchAr quotes many pramANams to elaborate on this unique guNam of the Lord of Hastigiri: ( " anAlOchita viSEshaaSEsha lOka SaraNya " --AchArya RaamAnuja) , " ViSvEbhyO janaEbhYO hitam " kurvan . He will never grant any inauspicousness , if the bhaktan requests it ( YaachitOapi sadhaa bhaktai: naahitam kaarayEth Hari:). Hitajn~a = He always blesses His bhaktAs with the supreme boons ( hitatamam). KurEsar's prayer reminds us of Swamy Desikan's prayer to Trivikraman of ThirukkOvalUr : " Yann-manyasE mama hitam tadhupAdadheethaa ". Sarvajn~a: He is Omniscinet ( Sarvajn~a: Sarvavidh as saluted in Sri VishNu sahasra Naamams) . Kaliyan teases the Lord of IndhaLUr about His sarvajn~atvam : " nummadiyAr yellArOdum okka yeNNi irundheer ! adiyEnai nallaraRiveer ! theeyAraRiveer ! namakku ivvulahil yellaam aRiveer !yeethE aRiyeer IndhaLUreerE ! ). He is not only a Sarvajn~an but He is a KaaruNeekan ( Sarvajn~Opi hi ViSvESa: sadhaa KaaruNikOapi sann). Samagra saktika: = Abode of all types of inherent capabilities and the power ( sakti) to execute them ( Paraasya Saktir-vividhaiva SrUyatE svaabhvikee ) . The assembly of samBhOdhana saBdhams provides a beautiful summary of DhvayArtham : Uttara KaNDam provides the NaarAyaNa SaBdhArtham , " dayaa nidhE Kshamaa NidhE " covers the SrI saBdhArtham , " dhAsyam Praapaya " takes care of the Chathurty 's artham and "Prasahya Me " includes the Nama: saBdhArtham . , NamO SrI VaradarAjAa!
