Guest guest
hi all... deeply hurt ...... is thr any prob or dhosam/ crime in going to a so called nonvaishnavite shrine ???? if so den a vaishnavite should not go to some divya desams which are inside a so called nonvaishnavite shrine - is this right ??? "The major drawback for me is our family wont allow adventurous trips that too to a nonvaishnavite shrine. To satisfy them I came forth with a lie of meeting some great souls at the foothills for our own welfare and that we wont be climbing the hill. By all His grace permission was granted. But somewhere in the mind the lie was prompting us that i had done something wrong. But then I convinced that i can say any lie to have His dharshan." Guest guest
In this regard I would like to make an observation. Unless for Adi Sankaracharya, Basdri Narayanan would have continue to hidden underground. He came in the dreams of Adi Sankaracharya and advised him to lift him up and construct a temple. Similarly Adi Sankaracharya constructed the temple in Devprayag ( one of the divyadesams ). One can be a staunch vaishnavite but nothing should prevent him to recognise other religion expecially Saivite disciplines. Any one following the four vedas should be recognised and respected.
