Bharathi has done immense kainkaryam

by rendering significant portions of AzhwAr aruLicceyal in a moving,

heart-rending fashion. Today, his kainkaryam is continued in a wonderful

fashion by Smt. Sowbhagyalakshmi

Bharati who runs the Sri Sadagopan Tirunarayana Swami Divya Prabandha Pathasala

and a beautiful temple dedicated to CellappiLLai.

 

Last year, 60th birthday celebrations of Sri Sriram Bharathi

were held in Chennai and in commemoration, a toguppu of his renditions

of AzhwAr aruliCCeyal was released in DVD form by the Pathasala. Smt. Sowbhagyalakshmi

Bharati asked me to upload a few clips from the DVD so that bhagavatas all over

the world could enjoy the anubhavam. As the first installment, I have
