Guest guest
- S.RAMESH SAMPATH muscat_iyengars Cc: Sumithra Varadarajan Monday, November 07, 2005 4:08 AM Dear Asthikas Aiypassi (The month which is very very important for our Sri Vaishnava Sampradayam) the birth month of Mudal Azhwars , the birth month of Senai Mudaliar & most imporatantly the birth month of Swami Manavala Mamunigal & Swami Pillai Lokachariar. Swami Manavala Mamunigal (Epuvizhil Arangesarku Edalithan Vazhizhe) was born on Aiyassi Month Moola Nakshathiram to bring light to the world. Peria Perumal accepted him as his Acharya and he himself recited a thanian in praise of Swami Manavala Mamunigal which is still being recited & will be recited in all the Sri Vaishnava Temple before the Azhwar Divya Prabhandhams are recited. He is also none other than the Poonar Avadhara of Swami Ramanuja & the last popular acharya of Sri Vaishnava Sampradayam, am attaching herewith the photos of the Swami Manavala Mamunigal Sattumurai which was held at Swami Rangarajan's house Al Khuwair. His sattumurai was celebrated in a very grand manner at Swami Rangarajan's house and as much as 50 Sri Vaishnava Asthikas attended the sattumurai function which was performed as per the Sri Vaishnava Temple rituals and asthikas had the blessings of perumal, thayar & acharya. "Aiypassiyil Onam, avittam sadayam evai, opilava nalgal ulagathir" Another great days (Aiypassi Sravanam, Avittam & Sadayam) the birth stars of mudal Azhwars (Poigaiazhwar, Bhudathazhwar & Peyazhwar) and also the 800th birth star of Swami Pillailokachariar (Aiypassi Sravanam) without him we would have lost the Sri Vaishnava Sampradayam completely and also the Archa murthy of Peria Perumal. The sattumurai of Mudal Azhwars & Swami Pillailokachariyar was celebrated again in a very grand manner at Swami Ramesh residence, Wadi Kabir and as much as 25 Sri Vaishnava Asthikas attended the sattumurai and had the blessings of perumal, thayar, azhwars & acharya. The follg. Divya Sukthis of azhwar was recited :- Thanian Thirupallandu Mudal Thiruvanthathi Kanninum Siruthambu Koil Thiruvoizhi The Sattumurai was performed by reciting the sattumurai pasurams of Mudal Thiruvanthathi & Koil Thiruvoimozhi followed by Nalpattu of Mudal Azhwars & Swami Pillailokachariyar from Upadesa Rathinamalai of Swami Manavala Mamunigal and the vazhi thirunamam of Mudal Azhwars & Swami Pillailokachariyar and Eyalsathu of Swami Manavala Mamunigal. I am enclosing herewith few photos of the sattumurai celebrations. http://pg.photos./ph/ramesh_geetha/album?.dir=4834 & .src=ph & store= & prodid= & .done=http%3a//photos./ph//my_photos http://pg.photos./ph/ramesh_geetha/album?.dir=2bcf & .src=ph & store= & prodid= & .done=http%3a//photos./ph//my_photos Thanks Adiyen Vara Vara Muni Dasan Nambirajan (Ramesh)

Guest guest
----- Forwarded Message ---- Bashyam Srinivasa <vs_bashyam andavan Sat, April 17, 2010 8:03:05 PM Subject: How long Sri Gopurapatti Thayar will be at Chandra Flat. When the temple construction will be over. Whether we can observe that the Thayar will be at Chandra Flat only which is and will be her abode. It is surprising to note that Thayar idol is kept in a house for more than 6 months now. Is it for collection purpose. We could note that this is indirect way for collection of donation for the construction of sannathis. If I am wrong in my statement I may be excused.
