As Sri Raama Navami approaches , this information

from Sriman M.G.Vasudevan would be of interest to You

all .

 

BTW , The Ahobilavalli Team plans to bring out a new e-book on

Sundara KhANDam for this year's Sri Rama Navami to be

coauthored by Sriman Anbil Ramaswamy and adiyEn .

 

adiyEn wil also upload a series of audio tapes that I recorded on

Raama Bhakthi of Saint ThyagarAja in the Raama Bhakthi Files

section . That would contain the annotated commentaries

on the Many krithis of one of the greatest Raama Bhakthar ,

Saint ThyagarAja and the excerpts of these songs as sung by

leading ( Vintage) Carnatic Music stalwarts like Ariyakkudi

Ramanuja Iyengar , Semmangudi , GNB , Mauthrai Mani Iyer ,

eminent Naathaswara VidhvAns , VeNu and VeeNA VidhwAns.

These recordings will be from public concerts going back to

3 to 4 decades .

 

Additional audio tapes that adiyEn recorded some 15 years ago on

Pancha Raama KshEthrams ( AyOdhya , PuLLambhUthangudi , ThriuveLLiyUr ,

ThiruveLLUr and Thirupptkkuzhi ) with commentaries on AzhwAr Paasurams

would be uploaded .

 

Finally , Two tapes on Oppiliappan Vaibhavam ( Paasurams , SuprabhAtham , SthOthram ,

Prapathti and MangaLam as well as ThirukkalyANam ) will be uploaded on

Dear sri vivek

 

the very first sargam of srimadh raamaayaNam called samkshEpa raamayaNam containing 100 slokams is covering the entire epic. this is usually done as paaraayaNam daily which is considered as equivalent to full epic.

the version is available in sanskrit font or english font in valmikiramayan.net site

even for this the formal beginning and ending slokams may be followed.
