Dear Sri Vishnu and Sri Mohan :

TTD has some absurd ideas , which are not backed up by

GaaNapathyam , one of the six Mathams founded /supported by

Adhi Sankara .

The 16 (Shodasa ) Ganapathis are at the court yard of

ThiruvArUr Thyagaraja Temple . Sri Mutthuswamy Dikshithar

has composed many krithis on Ganapathy but none on

" Lakshmi Ganapathy " . The Siddhaas and Taantrics have

" Lakshmi Ganapathi " . The SiddhAs even have a tithi to

worship this form of Ganapathi ( DhwAdasi) .

Other Tantric forms of Ganapthi worshipped by GanEsa UpAsakars

are Neela , Ucchishta, Raktha , Sakthi Ganapahti . There might be a mix up

between Sakthi and Lakshmi . Some one cleverly combined Lakshmi

for wealth and Ganaapthi for obstacle removal .

Mudgala PurANam and Skandha PurANam list 32 and 56 forms of

GaNapathy and Lakshmi GaNapathi is mentioned there . It should be

" Lakshmi Daasa GaNapathi " Like " Guru Guha vanditha "

Raamachandran . SrI MahA Ganapathy will be comfortable with

this salutation for His aunt ( according to PurANams) .

VaishNavAsa who have done Prapatthi at the sacred feet of

Sriman NaarAyaNan and MahA Lakshmi will not engage

in writing PiLLayAr Suzhi, ThOppukkaraNam , which are

acts of reverence by GaNapathy BhakthAs and have no

sanction in Aagamam or SaasthrAs . They recognize GaNapathi

and respect Him as the writer of MahA BhAratham

( yEka Dantha GaNapathy) and recognize Him as

the First son of Paarvathi ( ShyAma KrishNa Sodhari in Sri ShyAmA

SaasthrigaL Tradition ) and Lord Sivan , who has performed

SaraNAgathy to Sri Lakshmi Narasimhan as per Ahirbudhnya Samhaitha

is trhe Father of GaNapathy . Things get complicated , Do n't they ?

Let us not get into the complex motives of TTD and its administration as

they reach out to produce revenue producing schemes for their

own purposes , which will dismay Lord VenkatEsa . One thing fro sure ,

the TTD administration tries to meet the needs of all SEvArThis ,

many of whom are not necessarily Sri VaishNavAs or ParamaikAnthis .

The Shodasa GaNapathy Krithis are lovely and some of them in rare raagAs :

SvEtha Ganapathy: Raagam : Raaga ChooDAmaNi

Ucchishta gaNapahty " RAAGAM : KAASI RAAMAKRIYa

RAKTHA GANAPATHY: MOHANAM

Sakthy GaNapathy : SankarAbharaNam

Dear Members: Pursuing this topic any furhter
