Guest guest
Respected Swamins Recently I saw in a vaishnavite web site (kpedia)that in Yajurveda, Sukla Yajurveda and Chandyogka Upanishad, there is mention of Sandhyavandanam during Sunrise and Sunset. In that case is the introduction of Madhyaniham is a later insertion? Surprisingly I read in a book by the head of Chinmayamission, Swami Chinmayanada that the Madhyaniham was a later addtion after the advent of Islam which did 5 timies namaaz. MaadhyAhinakam is an ancient observance . I am surprised at the Chinmaya Mission statement .
