Guest guest
SrI:| Srimathe Ramanujaya Nama:| Sri Devi, Bhoo Devi, Neela Devi Sametha Sri Vaikunta Nathan Thiruvadigale saranam:| Dear bhakthAs, Through your prayers, and devotion towards emperumAn, the kainkaryam at Thiru Vaikunta Vinnagaram in ThirunAngUr started successfully on April 1st, 2007 (Panguni Uththiram Day). AdiyEn reached Sirkazhi around 8.00 A.M.(April 1st) though could able to catch bus from Chennai at around 2.00 A.M. as the consequence of bandh announced by the Govt. Sriman Vasudevan Varahachary and his wife received adiyEn in a hotel at Sirkazhi and after freshening up and breakfast we left to dhivyadesam for the fresh start of Kainkaryam. AdiyEn was first introduced to a local gardener who made remarkable changes in nandavanam after the initiative of Sriman Varahachary. (The photos would be soon uploaded in blogsite). Then each of us (adiyEn, Sriman Varahachary & Tmt Varahachary) planted new Mallikai flower plant in the nandavanam. AFter that Sriman Varahachary informed adiyEn about the initiatives that he taken up in this dhivyadesam. He will post the accounts details soon. The ground work is taken by Sri T.R. Thirumalai (local person from SthalathAr). Thirumanjanam to Utsavar was planned and arranged by Sriman Varahachary on April 1st. Later we heard a sweet news that, the ubayadhAr who planned to perform thirumanjanam to Moolavar (Sri Vaikunta nathar and His consorts) had postponed it on the same day (April 1st) due to bandh on the previous day. Hence thirumanjanam was performed to both Moolavar and Uthsavar of Sri Vaikunta Nathar and His consorts along with Sri Krishnar and chakrathAzhwar which was great boon for us on the holy Panguni Uththiram Day which remarked the successful start of our kainkaryam!!! After thirumanjanam, we gathered some of the informations about the sthalathArs, members of Heredity Trustees, theerthakArars, etc., SthalathAs, Trustees, Muthal TheerthakArar: 1) Sri U.Ve. P.B.S. RamanujAchAryar Swamigal 2) Sri U.Ve. P.B.R. RanganathAchAryar 3) Sri U.Ve. P.T.R. SrinivAsAchAryar IrandAm TheerthakArar: 1) Sri U.Ve. P.B.A. RangarajAchAryar In the meanwhile we discussed the problem that predominantly occurs to the sEvarthis during the visit to Thirunangur Dhivyadesams. We finalized the problem is timings of the temple. Most of the sEvArthis who planned a trip to THirunAngUr DD's, were aware that most of the time , the DD's were closed unless you make a personal visit or pick up nearby bhattar to have darshan. Some times to make the situation worse, the trip ends with uncomplete darshan of all Thirunangur DD's. While adiyEn and Sriman Varahachary Swamin were discussing this point at morning, a group of sEvArthis who just arrived in an auto entered into the temple. After a chat with auto driver, it seems that he used to make a trip to Thirunanagur DD's by the sEvArthis request. We just put a general question infront of him on the difficulties faced by him and sEvArthis during the visit. He replied that, " We bring sEvArthis to this DD's for the darshan, but the main disappointment would be the temple doors always closed and sEvArthis end-up with uncompleted trip which results in decrease in number of sEvArthis turning to this DD's. " Hence we primarily focussed on making arrangements for opening the temple during working hours. We got assurance from local sthalathArs, that the timings would be followed hereafter so that the sEvArthis wont return with disappointment. Sri T.R. Thirumalai is helping us always in this regard and assured that the temple would be remained open at the following timings: TEMPLE TIMINGS: Morning: 8.30 A.M. to 11.30 A.M. Evening: 4.00 P.M. to 7.30 P.M. After this discussion, ghOsti sEva (sAtrumurai) was performed after sAthupadi. We had the darshan of Sri Vaikunta Nathar perumal and His consorts in sAthupadi after thirumanjanam. Through our kainkaryam, daily four times poojAs(naalu kaala poojai) were arranged. Thanks to all the supporters and Sriman Varahachary swamin in this regard. And to provide comfort to the visitors who plan to visit Thirunangur DD's, we planned an idea of making ThirunAngUr as base station such that accomadation and SriVaishnavite food would be provided at nominal cost and could make a trip of all nearby Thirunangur DD's within a day. This would increase the sEvArthis to ThirunAngUr DD's which results in drawing more attention of these temples. Instead of having Sirkazhi or Chidambaram as base for Thirunangur DD's which would require more time and money for a trip to Thirunanagur and to add, the presence of temple bhattars to have darshan, Thirunangur itself could be considered as base so that the visitors could save time and with assistance of sthalathArs and locals could complete the darshan of all DD's without any disappointment. Travel assistance can be arranged. For this project along with the SthalathArs, we inspected a place which could be developed as accomadation for the sEvArthis and they assured that, they can supply SriVaishnavite food at nominal cost. This is a boost to the bhattars, sthalathArs and sEvArthis too. For further queries about accomadation and food at ThirunAngUr, contact T.R. Thirumalai, Heredity(Parambarai) Trustees : 98404 06696. Then we left for Thirunagari to express our thanks to Sri GeethAchAryan who co-ordinated in organizing certain things was busy with Panguni BrahmOtsavam and due to vEdupari Utsavam on the previous day(31,March). AdiyEn got strucked with the darshan of Sri VayalAli manavAlan and Thirumangai Azhwar with Sri Kumudavalli nAchiyAr in car (thEr) festival. AdiyEn couldn't able to move even a step or leave the place after the darshan of Thirumangai Azhwar at thEr (Not beacause of crowd, but Azhwar's thirumEni beauty). AdiyEn would soon post the picture in blog. Then we visited the Thiruthettriambalam (Palli konda perumal) and then to Thiru ArimEya Vinnagaram - our next target on April 14th. We discussed the steps to be taken at this DD during April 14th. Then we left to Thiru Vaikunta Vinnagaram - the starting place, and had a good darshan of perumAl with thAyAr(s). AFter a brief discussions with T.R.Thirumalai and other sthalathArs, about the kainkaryam to be followed up in Vaikunta Vinnagaram, with fulfillment in heart we left to Sirgazhi around 5.30 P.M. for the departure. AdiyEn and Mr. & Mrs Vasudevan Varahachary were indeed in great pleasure in successful start of the first Kainkaryam that was scheduled during the April 1st (Panguni Uththiram Day) at Vaikunta Vinnagaram. We express our gratitude and heartfull thanks to the contributors who made us to implement this noble kainkaryam! AdiyEn thank Sriman Varahachary Swamin for his wise suggestions, timely actions, perfection in getting work to be done, getting peoples for the work and co-ordinating them. Personally adiyEn thank Mr. & Mrs Varhachary Swamin for their hospitality during adiyEn's visit on April 1st. We hope by the end of this month, the remaining two DD's could be taken up for the kainkaryam. adiyEn, senthil.b.

Guest guest
"ETRAIKKUM EZEZU PIRAVIKKUM UTROME AVOM, UNAKKEY NAM AAT SAIVOM" SWamin It is the greatest news of the day. Ever since I last visited the Thirunangur Area last, I had always wondered " Can we do some thing about it?" I only regretted my absence on 1st April. As I had written in one of my earlier post I will be present and handover Rs 3,000/- for the 3 divyadesams works on 14th April. In my view the next phase can be for 1.Aduthurai Perumal Koil 2.Kavisthalam and 3 Thiruvelliangudi. I assure to contribute similarly for these divyadesams also.
