Guest guest
Jayasree ji, An excellent article! Adiyen also has some interest in Jyotish (you might find some articles of interest on adiyen's Web site http://www.balaji.ind.in/) and one thing struck me in the para given below: ///Bharani and krittika are not alone, but they are part of 12 stars (others being Thiruvadhirai, aayilyam, pooram, pooradam, poorattadhi, kettai, vishakam, swathi, magam and Chithrai) that are considered as 'unfortunate' (aahaadhu) stars./// Adiyen cannot comment on the other stars, but Swati is special to adiyen because it is the birth star of adiyen's dearest avatar, Malolan. I have read that weddings in Swati are auspicious because of the exact reason you mentioned: " Whatever goes on the day these stars reign, will not come back. " It is said that if a father gives away his daughter's hand in marriage to a groom on Swati, then she will not come back--that is, she will live happily in her husband's house. Guest guest
SrI: Thank you for the feed back. Bharani and krittika are the most dreaded of all, and are recommended specifically for harvesting, taking money (or taking something) and for taking first bath after an illness. Other 10 stars have suitability at other specific and auspicious occasions too. If you look at the occasions, you will find that stars (of this group) that are at the cusps are least favourable than others. I read the article on Sani for rains in your web site. The Varsha paNi chakra holds the key for rains. As per that, the movement of moon is given importance. When moon passes through Jala-naadi and Amirtha-naadi with more than 3 planets in these places, there will be good rains. Pushya is the star of Jala-naadi.Pushyam, pooram, shathayam belong to jala-naadi. Aayilym, magam, shravanam and avittam belong to amirtha naadi. You may work on these. In contrast, sani is the lord of oordhwa-naadi, that causes dry winds and no rains. When moon passes through bharani, krittika (the duo comes here too:-)) anusham and vishakam (these two cause mutual vedai to the other two resepctively)there will be no trace of rains or rain clouds. Perhaps you have to include these issues too in interpreting the data you have. regards, jayasree saranathan -- In Oppiliappan , Balaji Narasimhan <sherlockbalaji wrote: > > Jayasree ji, > > An excellent article! > > Adiyen also has some interest in Jyotish (you might > find some articles of interest on adiyen's Web site > http://www.balaji.ind.in/) and one thing struck me in > the para given below: > > ///Bharani and krittika are not alone, but they are > part of 12 stars (others being Thiruvadhirai, > aayilyam, pooram, pooradam, poorattadhi, kettai, > vishakam, swathi, magam and Chithrai) that are > considered as 'unfortunate' (aahaadhu) stars./// > > Adiyen cannot comment on the other stars, but Swati is > special to adiyen because it is the birth star of > adiyen's dearest avatar, Malolan.
