Guest guest
SrI: Dear Sri Vadoolan : Your thoughts are most welcome and timely . There is indeed enough room for every one to serve , If only we can unite and set aside all the other things, develop a common data base on what is being done already and what are priority areas crying for attention , we can all channel the energy , funds and enthusiasm . On this year's Panguni Utthiram day ( April 1) , we got ourselves connected to ThirunAngUr dhivya dEsams and are getting acquainted with other ongoing kaimakryams there to cover existing unaddressed areas . The primary goals are to have regular AarAdhanam , keep the temples open for SevArthees , addresss the loukeekam needs of staff and the logistic needs of pilgrims for food and lodging . Some temples in this set of ThirunAngur dhivya desams are well served already and others need attention . There is no substitute for personal involvement ( visits , active cooperation with sthalatthArs and representatives of the other Trusts ) . Any amount of money wont help . It will all disappear somewhere or other and the net effect will be a sense of disappointment . Accountability and help without meddling are absolutely necessary . A Trust is being formed , a bank account will be established shortly by Sriman Vasudevan Varahachary of Erode . What we need as devotees of ThirunAngUr dhivya desams is to build up a data base of those who wish to get involved with these kaimkaryams at the adopted temples , serve actively in the informal committes and provide shrama dhAnam ( remove the damages done by time at these temples , help with Nandavana Kaimakryams ) , dhravya dhAnam YathA Sakthi and most of all visit these ancient temples in big numbers . Let us focus on these dhivya dEsams as a group in 2007 , learn from our experience and export that experience to the other dhivya desams later . Please write to Sriman Varahachary or Sriman S.Rajagopalan or adiyEn . On the eve of Bhagavath RaamAnuja Jayanthi , it is all of our prayers that should be heard by the Dhivya Dampathis to bless us to perform Kaimakryam for Them for the rest of our lives here on Their leelA VibhUthi . NamO Sriman NaarAyaNAya , V.Sadagopan - vadoolan Thursday, April 19, 2007 6:50 AM SRIMAN NARAYANA KAINKARYAM OHM NAMO NARAYANAYA NAMAHA Swamin, A number of have sprungup singing glory to Shriman NArayana. Some of them propagate about the KAinkaryam of Divyadesam. It appears more than one group is engaged in the kainkaryam of the same Divyadesam. In this connection the following suggestion is made. Let the rich , influential and corporate / business entitites take up renovation, additions , Painting etc. Let another illusttrious group takeup publicity work, like advertisements, Hoardings, writeups, commentaries etc. The third group take up routine and day to day affairs like opening the temples in time, ensuring adequate facilities for sevarthis, maintaining cleanliness, garden, Welfare of the Temple staff etc. Thus there is enough room for every one. Not all divyadesams are prosperous. Not all divyadesams are in metros. Divyadesams in interior and rural Tamiznadu definitely lack in infrastructure, publicity and means for even aradhanams. The conditions of Archakas is not in good shape. So also the condition of other temple staff. Hence it is essential that Groups intending to do KAINKARYAM co-ordinate and co-operate amongst themselves. After all every one is for kainkaryam for Shriman Narayana. Hence please ensure that energy is mot wasted on duplication of works. Co-ordination and co-operation consolidates our efforts for His kainkaryam. Guest guest
SrI: Dear Sriman K.N.Chary : Your suggestion is very good . There are so many lapses in Bhagavath AarAdhanam every year that PavithrOthsavam is essential . It is like the required SamprOkshaNam after 12 years that should be done . PavithrOthsavam is done for 3 or 5 or 7 or 9 days. Yaaga Saalai would be needed .AnkurArpaNam , Mrudh SangrahaNam ,Paalikai , Kalasa SthApanam , PeetArchanam , AavAhanam, MaNDala NirmANam Homam etc that concludes with PurNAhUthi . We might need approximately 3,000 Rs for the 3 day long PavithrOthsam to be performed by the Aagamic experts .One single person or a group of persons can easily sponsor it every year by adopting one dhivya dEsam , where such an uthsavam is not performed . We are setting up a ThirunAngUr dhivya dEsa RakshaNam trust and those who are interested to sponsor such PavithrOthsavams can contact either myself or Sriman Rajagopalan of Chennai or Sriman Vasudevan VarahAchary of Erode . In summary , it can be done and has to be done to enhance Saannidhyam at these Dhivya desa Sannidhis . The sthalatthArs and expatriates from these dhivya dEsams can help . You are welcome to join us in making it happen . V.Sadagopan - > " K.N.
