Dear Sri Rangarajan;

 

The pictures of Acharya Ramanmuja's ThEr festival

are beautiful. Thank you very much . In that majestic

ThEr ,

 

AchArya RaamAnuja sits majestically with His ThridhaNDam

on that lofty car and blesses every one with His beautiful sEvai .

Thanks for making that sEvai available to us all , who could not

be there .

 

Last year , few BhakthAs from USA, Kuwait and

India) raced against time to complete a comfort

station project for the benefit of the huge assembly of

Sevarthees on our ParamAchAryan's Thirunakshathram

and ThEr day . We could not meet that deadline in April 2006

due to local strikes etc and finally completed the Kaimkaryam

few months later and placed the facilities with the sthalatthArs

" to protect and preserve " this missing facility and to make

sure that it is not abused and is maintained well . A watchman

has been appointed to keep the facities open and cleaned .

It is adiyEn's sincere hope that this facility has been helpful

particularly children and women and to keep the area around

the temple clean .

 

We have to thank the Executive Officer and SthalatthArs

for their exceptional help in realizing this Kaimkaryam

to the SevArthees .

 

A group of Andal BhakthAs are planning to create such a facility at

Srivilliputthur as well since based on personal experience as to how

such facilities are needed there . adiyEn will kep you informed

incase some of you wish to particpate in providing support .

 

adiyEn requests members , who attended the ThEr festival

to send me a private note as to the proper maintenance of

the newly opened facilities to help the huge ghOshti of

BhakthAs assembling at SriperumbhUdhUr for the biggest

festival there .

P.S : A Major portal Web site is being created by my dear friend ,

Sri Sridhar Lakshminarasimhan of Bangalore on the KshEthrams

with personal links to AchArya RaamAnuja . He is making good

progress .

 

Nearly 10 years back both Dr.M.A.Alwar and adiyEn released

a Video CD on the Life and Sri Sookthis of AchArya RaamAnuja .

Few years later , the Microsoft Operating System incompatibilities

made it difficult to use . Another dear friend of adiyEn , Sri Anil

is rstoring it at Brisbane , Australia and we hope that valuable CD

can be re-released with XP systems in mind .There is too much

precious material there that should be available to all devotees

of Bhagavath RaamAnuja & His darsanam .

Dear Sri. Sadagopan Swamin,

 

Thanks for your mail and compliments on the good photographs. It is all due to His greatness and Acharya krupa.

 

With regard to the comfort station project you had mentioned, I did follow some of the mails in this group by various asthikas. Even this time, my mother, children and others were in need of such facilities and we went to a house known to us. I am sorry we did not check on the new facility created. However, since we are residing at Chittlapakkam near Tambaram, we can always make it to Sriperumbudur and see how it works etc., Now Sri AdiKesava Perumal's Bramhotsavam will begin in Sriperumbudur. So the facility will certainly have its utility. Whenever we go there next, we will definitely have a look on the same.

 

Please send us the details of Srivilliputhur project as well. Whatever little adiyen can do, we will certainly try to participate, if possible monetarily or otherwise sareera sahayam or both.

 

Adiyen also has certain collection of pictures of Bhagavad Ramanuja taken during various visits and other Divyadesams. We pray for the restoration of your video CD on Srisukthis of Bhagavad Ramanuja and his life at the earliest and that it should benefit the Sri Vaishnavas of world at large.
