TTD - SMILE arrangement.

SWamin,

I had a very purposeful meeting with Mr Parameswaran of SMILE to day(27-04-2007). Shri Parameswaran who heads the APN Group is the son of the illustrius Shri A P Nagarajan, who was a film producer - Director of yester years. He had a number of Puranic films to his credit. More about SMILE can be viewed in their website:thesmileworld.org.

Though TTD had announced the scheme, when I approached local TTD office, their staff directed me to SMILE.

During discussion with Shri Parameswaran, the objects and motos of The Thirunangur Divyadesa Rakshana Trust was explained and sought for his liberal help to the needy Thirunangur Divyadesams. The policy of SMILE is not to have cash transactions. The items supplied by Bhakthas will normally be sent to The Divyadesam indicated by the Bhakthas themselves. Otherwise, they will be distributed to the needy Divyadesams. Here adiyen stressed the need of Thirunangur Divya Desams.

SMILE requests for our active association in its venture. adiyen assured all possible helps from our side for all Divyadesams in general and Thirunangur in particular.

The first offering of this venture was offered by adiyen earmarking it to ThiruVaikunda Vinnagaram of Thirunangur. Shri Parameswaran was happy about the offerings and sought our co operation, which was assured.

Prior to this meeting, Adiyen had posted our request in their website and a mail was also sent.

Regards,

S RAJAGOPALAN

PS Adiyen has promissed that all Divyadesam posts of our group will be sent to him also by us.
