Guest guest Posted April 27, 2007 Report Share Posted April 27, 2007 Tirumala, 26 April TTD Trust Board has taken the following decisions: 1) Devotees, who go to sarva darshanam through VQC-2, will be given one laddu of 175 grms each on free of cost to each devotee and it will be effect from May 12, on Hanuman Jayanthi day. 2) To propagate Hindu Dharma Pracharam, the Board has decided to distribute religious books or CDs or Audio cassttees on free to every devotee who visits the temple and this system would effect from May 12 onwards. 3) From May 1 onwards the VIP Break darshan on Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be cancelled while the present VIP break darshan ticket is enhanced from Rs 200 to 500. 4) The devotees, who visits TTD local temples will be given small laddus as Sri prasadams. 5) For construction of Hill View Deluxe Cottages (HVDC) , the interested donors has to pay Rs 50 lakhs under cottage donation scheme and this amount will be utilized for extending more facilities to the common devotees accommodation. 6) The Board also taken decision to appoint TTD EO to conduct an enquiry about the happenings that took during the visit of the newly-wed Abhishek-Aiswaraya rai to the Tirumala temple on April 22. 7) For convenience of the common and middle class pilgrims, From May 1, the cottage tariff will be collected 50 per cent of the total amount for 12-hours and this will applicable to the cottages/ guest houses rent ranging upto Rs 500 8) The Board decided to celebrate the 600 th Jayanthi annual mahotsavams of Tallapaka Annamacharya on May 3 at Rajampet and Tallapaka in kadapa district, the birth place of saint poet. As part of celebrations, On may 3, Nagarsankeertana will be conducted at Rajampet in which Peetadhipathies, Seers, noted musical directors, cine directors , Padmasree and Padma Bhushan Awardees and devotees of Annamacharya Saranagathi mandals, Hare sreenivasa bhajana mandals as well as Dharma Prachara Parishad bhajana mandals besides thousands of devotees from different parts of the country will take part in the event. 9) To propagate Hindav Dharma among the dalits, the Board also decided to conduct ‘Dalit Govindam in a Dalitwada near Tallapaka on May 2 evening. 10) Decided to conduct Mathrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba Jayanthi mahotsavams on April 31 at Tagrigonda village and on May 1 at Tirumala. 11) Besides releasing a poster of Talapaka Annamacharya 600 th jayanthi annual mahotsavams, the Chairman TTDs B.Karunakara Reddy has released four books namely – five secrets (tamil), Andal Thiruppavai Vilakkam (tamil), Balacharitam (telugu), Swapana vasava dutta natakam at Annamaiah Bhavan .
