Dear priya Sri ANdAL bhkthAs and bhAgavathAs,

Swamy NammAzhwar Uthsavam and VasanthOtsavam (also Gotha Sthuthi

Uthsavam) is started from 21st to 30th May 2007 at Sri villiputtur.

 

AdiyEn herewith appends the valuable information on Gotha Sthuthi

Uthsavam at SriVilliputtur given by Sri Thirumalai PS.

 

Gothasthuthi is the slokam written on Andal by Swami Desikan..

During the vaikasi vasanthotsavam Sri Andal and Sri Rengamannar will

come to the mandapam in nadakasalai st,around 6 pm and after having

ilaneer and vada paruppu,panakkam will go around the nadakasalai st

with the vedapiran pattar(Periyazvar Vamsam)starting the first slokam

of Gothasthuthi,then all the Goshti members continue from the second

slokam...

this above schedule is followed from 21-05-07 to 29-05-07

and on the last day..

Thirupavadai goshti will be performed...

with Palmangai(a recepie made with mangai and milk)
