Respectful Swamin, Regarding the do's & don'ts in temple for Bhaktas, adiyen has the following to offer: 1. Shaastaanga pranaamam should not be done beyond Balipeedam(near the Temple Flag-staff). All shaashtaanga pranaamams have to be done only at the Balibeedam. Pranaamams inside the Temple, particularly. before the Lord--stretching the legs towards the Garudan Sannidhi at the back are to be avoided. Such pranaamams are not beneficial. On the other hand, they are apachaaram. 2. Eating prasadams with hands touching the mouth should be avoided. 3. Talking while Upanishads, Prapandam and stotras are recited is another offence often commited in the Temple. 4. When Amsaya is being done for the Lord, all should stand. No sitting in the Manimandapam. 5. No pradakshinam while Thalikai being offered. 6. Plucking of flowers & Tulasi in the Temple premises for personal use

should be avoided. The same, only after theyare offerred to the Lord, can be taken home and offered to the Perumaal in the home. 7. Any prasadams taken home from the Temple have to be offered to the family deity before our consumption 8. No separate Pradakshinam for Garudazhvar. No crossing between the Garudazhvar and the Lord, Garudazhvar is supposed to have continuous darsanam of the Lord without interuption. Pratakshinam should be around the Lord & Garudazhvar together and no separate for each leaving the other within the Sannidhi. Of course this is not applicable when there is veedhi purappaadu. 9. Before entering the main sannidhi of the Lord, one should have darsanam of Acharyas, Thayar, Andal, Sudarsanar, and Garudazhvar. 10. While coming out of the Temple one must come via pradikshana route and not opposite route. These occurred to adiyen's mind presently. Sriman
