SATYANARAYANA Tirupati, July 3, 2007 (tirupatitimes.com) The famous hill shrine of Lord Vekateswara at Tirumala near here has today received a princely offering in the form of seven worship articles made of gold total weighing about 15 KG worth about 1.5 crore by a devotee from Chandigarh. Temple sources told that the devotee Mr. Balbir Singh Uppal, CMD of Lakshmi Energy and foods Ltd (LEAF) in Chandigarh has handed over seven varieties of worship articles to a temple official on the hills this morning.
