dear swamins

since i performed this recently

i am giving some points.

1. all the karmas at gaya can be completed in a day.

2. i went to karnataka bhavan - so guided by friend in bihar - pay rs 2000/-

they take care of every thing including room accommodation- family - meals, the rituals to be performed including the brahaspathi sambavana arranging brahaspathi according to the particular persons sampradhayam like iyer iyengar telugu tamil kerala palghat etc.

3. first take bath and do ur daily anushtanams. then proceed to palguni rivr bank - guided by the bhavan people.

there make rice pindam - means cook rice in 2 pots by igniting fire pouring rice water etc. then do sankalpam. maenwhile rice is ready.

4. then do 16 balls of rice and 32 balls of rice cooked in 2 pots. brahaspathi will guide you all the time.

5. then offer the pindams with thilam and do the tharpanams for all parents relatives. then one portion to be offered at the vishnu padam in the temple nearby.

6.now come back to the bhavan and do the homam and srardham like how we do in our house

7. the local brahmanas are the nimanthrana people. 2 persons for each srardham

8. after bbrahmna bojanam etc as in the house the last pinda tharpanam is to be done at akshaya vatam - which is 2 km away from this bhavan

9.

all these procedures take from 10or 10.15 to 4pm in evening.

then only bojanam for kartha. that also is provided by bhavan itself.

10. some small changes have to be spent in the other places which altogether will not exceed 300

so it is a procedure as in the house only except that the pindam is offered at ramar sannidhi on the banks of palguni river and then akshaya vatam.

the story what the other reader offered is also correct

for i heard same. i think sir has missed one more which i am not able to recollect

regards
