known each other for three generations .

Part of his family is linked to the verdant

ChOzha Naattu Village of Nallur ( NallavarkaL

VBaazhzum idam ) on the banks of KoLLidam

river .

 

Sriman Ramesh is reconstructing a old temple

for Sri KodhaNda Raaman , which has been

a place of worship for many hundreds of years

and as villagers moved out to cities for livelihood ,

this temple became deserted . Sriman Ramesh is

looking for help from all Raama BhakthAs in

general and those who have links to this

village and neighborhood .

Pranams,

 

Adiyen is a member of a small group trying to renovate

Sri Sundara Kothandarama temple at Nallur Village near

Kollidam in Sirkali Taluk of Nagapattinam District.

This temple is an ancient one and enshrines Lord

Sundara Kothandarama, Sita, Lakshmana and Anjaneya.

Currently it is in a bad shape and requires immediate

attention. For more details about the temple history

When I approached Sriman Sadagopan Swamin he was kind

enough to introduce me and the kainkaryam to all

Bhagavathas known to him (through the mail given

below).

 

We have had a few responses and a couple of

contributions. The Balalayam has been done on 17th

June 2007 and the renovation work has started. I

would appeal to the Bhagavatha community to contribute

their mite to the cause.

 

We have formed a trust for the sole purpose of

renovating the temple. This is registered as a

Religious trust with the Income Tax Authorities.
