This Adi month is a divine one since Sri Andal took birth during this

month Adi-Pooram thirunakshatram. As exclaimed by Sri Manavala

Mamunigal " EmakkaagavanrO ingu Andal avatharithAL " . She took birth in

this earth - iruL tharumA j~naalam - to uplift jeevAtmas from the

samsAra sAkaram. AdiyEn prostrates into HER divine lotus thiruvadi !!!

 

As a child of the divine mother -Sri Andal - adiyEn requests all

bhAgavathas to attend any of the following important Uthsavam that is

scheduled at Sri Villiputtur - 'Gothai vaalum oor Govindhan vaalum oor "

The festival begins on 5th August and ends on 18th August 07. Some of

the important dates were:
