A dear friend of mine sent from Bangalore the recording of

Purusha Sooktham as per AtharvaNa Veda exponents ( VithpaNNALs) .

For those who have not heard AtharvaNa Vedam recited ( especailly

from South India , where KrishNa Yajur Vedam is dominant ) , this will be

a treat . Please listen to it .

 

The Sundara Simham e-Book # 73 has the recordings

Purusha Sooktham (audio files) in KrishNa Yajur Vedam ,

Sukla Yajur Vedam , Saama Vedam , Rg Vedam and

AtharvaNa Vedam . It also has santhai style ( for teaching

purposes) of Purusha Sooktham ( the Hymn of Creation) .

 

On August 28 , You have the UpAkarmaa ( VedArambham) .

Please listen to these Vedic recitations of Purusha Sooktham

in the 5 Veda SamhithAs and feel fulfilled . Those who are

qualified to recite VedAs can atleast Master their own branch

of Vedam by learning Purusha Sooktham and recite it every

day . It will take 3 to 5 minutes to recite . You can access

these audio files and commentary on the grand (cosmic) vision

about the disaster that struck an AtharvaNa Vedic Pundit

from Bihar as a result of the recent , devastating floods .

Please help Sri ManOranjan AtharvaNa Pandit with

a sambhAvanA to reconstruct his life from this horrible

floods . As you know , there are not too many Atharva

Vedam experts in India anymore .Please send a note to

Sriman Diwakar Kannan at Bangalore , if you can help .

SrI:Dear allSeveral months back we recorded Atharvana vEdam rendered by Sri Manorajan in an attempt to release a cd which didn't fructify. This evening I got a call from him who hails from Orrisa and heard that rain has played havoc and his home is submerged in water causing severe loss. He is looking for some financial help and he has sent his friends's account details. If you are interested kindly help him. Atharva Veda.wma is an unsafe atachment and my system CE has removed the

entry toattachment. What to do?

Also in sundara simham ebook series we cannot go out of gallery and

downloading is diasbled.

There was no warning based on the Norton security

systems about the audio file as veing dangerous .

I heard it without any peoblem . By copy of this note ,

I am requesting Sriman Diwakar Kannan to comment .

 

Downloading problems with the Sundara Simham

gallery surprises me . Once I made a CD out of

the wjhole 108 e-books there . Perhaps it is

time to think of creating a DVD out of it , use that

to raise some funds for one VaishNavite Kaimakryam

or other and make it accessible without use of

computers by playing it thru TV . Same can be done

for Ahobilavalli series , which is reaching

the halfway mark of 108 soon .

 

I request members to comment on the value of

this approach assuming that other people

might have downloading problems .I have not

heard too much on this problem sofar .

Swamins,

 

Sri Manoranjan may deserve help. He and his team were always invited for the

Atharvana Veda Parayanam for all major Thirunakshatram celebrations in the

Asramam.

 

But, during one such event, we had a bitter experience with some found in an

unacceptable state. Manoranjan disclaimed all responsibility for the behaviour

of the group.

 

After this event, we even dropped the idea of setting up a section for Atharvana

Veda Adhyayanam in our Thiruchanoor Patasala.

 

I thought the members, while rushing all help, should know this.
