The debt that we owe to NadAthUr AzhwAn ,

NadAdhUr AmmAL and Swamy Desikan is

enormous . In his commentary on ChathusslOki of

Swamy AlavanthAr , Swamy Desikan follows the line

of PoorvAchAryAs like NadAthUr AmmAl and states

conclusively :

 

" salakshmeekasya sAmrAjyam sarvaTA suprathishtam "

 

That PirAtti has Vibhuthvam , Iswarathvam and the Yeka-

SEshithvam are well proven .

 

We owe a lot to NadAthur AmmaaL , Sudarsana Soori ,

AthrEya RaamAnujar and Swamy Desikan .

 

In this context , it is most gratifying to know that

Sri U.Ve. NadAthUr KaruNAkarAcchAr Swmy

will be celecrating his Shashtiyabdha Poorthy

on Aug 30 at Chennai and will be releasing

number of volumes of his invaluable writing

in Tamil , Sanskrit and English .

 

The celebrations committee is experiencing a short fall

of 50,000 ( $1,250) . It is my pleasure to request you
