K: First bhaagavatham tham gOraja s chhuritha kunthaLa bhadhdhha barha vanya prasoona ruchirEkshaNa chaaruhaasam | vENum kvaNantha manugair anugeetha keerthi gOpyO dhidhrukshitha dhrusO: abhyagaman samEthaa: || 10-15-42 meaning: The gopîs, with eyes hungry to see krishNa came all together forth to meet Him, with the dust in His hair thrown up by the cows, the peacock feather, the forest flowers, His charming eyes and beautiful smile, His flute sounded and His glories sung by the gopas. Now aazhvaar -- thazhaikaLum thongalum thadhumbi engum thaNNumai ekkam maththaLi thaazh peeli kuzhalkaLum geedhamum aagi engum gOvindhan varukinRa koottam kaNdu mazhai kolO varukinRadhu enRu solli mangaimaar saalaga vaasal paRRi nuzhaivanar niRpanar aagi engum uLLam vittu ooN maRandhu ozhindhanarE -- 3-4-1. L: Now paasuram 3- 6- 9 vrundhasO vraja vrushaa mruga gaavO vENu vaadhya hrutha chEthasa aaraath ! dhantha dhashta kavaLaa dhrutha karNaa nidhrithaa likhitha chithram iva aasan !! 10-35-5 Meaning: A flock of cows and deers with large and multitude of happiness came from long distances, as if carried by the flute music of krishNaa, to Brindhaavan where krishna was playing the flute. These cows and deers stood motionless as though they were in a painting with the bitten grass in the mouth held for munching but forgotten to munch. Now aazhvaar – thiraNdezhu thazhai mazhai mugil vaNNan sengamala malar soozh vaNdu inam polE suruNdu iruNda kuzhal thaazhndha mugaththaan oodhuginRa kuzhal Osai vazhiyE maruNdu maan kaNangaL mEigai maRanthu mEintha pullum kadai vai vazhi sOra iraNdu paadum thulungaap pudai peyaraa ezhuthu chiththiram pOl ninRanavE " . 3-6-9 See just it is a literal translation in tamil – of course with a little more description for krishNa – in particular that likhitha chithram – ezhudhu chiththiram --. Now paasuram 3-6-10 First bhaagavatham slokam -- vana lathaa: tharava aathmani vishNum vyanjayanthya iva pushpha laaDayaa:! praNatha bhaara vitapaa maDhu Dhaaraa: prEmam hrushta thanava: sasruju: sma:!! 10-35-9 Meaning: The creepers in the forest were moving in the air as though they are waving the victory flag for the King krishna. The trees were bending in love and letting loose the flowers dripping honey, offering the fruits etc reverentially to krishnaa. Now the paraalel in periyaazhvaar – verse 3-6-10 karungaN thOgai mayiR peeli aNindhu katti nanku uduththa peethaka aadai arum kala uruvin aayar perumaan avan oruvan kuzhal oodhina pOdhu marangaL ninRu madhu thaaraigaL paayum malargaL veezhum vaLar kombugaL thaazhum irangum koombum thirumaal ninRa ninRa pakkam nOkki avai seyyum guNamE. Oh great – see the trees bending, flowers dripping honey.
