In north America, for munitrayam, sri jayanti will be on sep 3, 2007 and for others on Sep 4, 2007. In this year, for all in Bharata varsham (Munitrayam, Sri Pancha ratram, vaikasanam) Sri Jayanti falls on Sep 4, 2007. Sorry for confusing everyone.dasan."Govindarajan T.R." wrote: srI:For munitrayam, Sri Jayanti falls on the previous day which is Monday, Sep 3, 2007 in Northern America. As per nazhigai calculations, on sept 4th, Ashtami and Rohini both are present in the morning up to 9.01 AM EDT. If on the previous day, both Rohini and Ashtami co-exist in the midnight, then the previous date (sep 3), should be chosen for Sri Jayanti, though Ashtami has Vedai on that day. (as per nirnayam by Sri Tirukudanthai Desikan)With the above reasoning, Sri Jayanti should be celebrated on the previous night/day, which is Monday, Sep 3, 2007.dasan.
