Guest guest
Respected swamis, Mavilai Thoranam : Kavi Chakravarthi in his kavi nayam in Ramayanam. According to Kamban in his Ramayana : When Sri Raman entered into Ayodhi, every where mavilai thoranam was hanged by the people of Ayodhya, it moves front and back in the air. It appears that mavilai thoranam invites Sri Rama and others for Thirumalaigai. That is why, the mavilai thoranam is most important for us also, if we celebrate any function in our house. That Mavilai thoranam will invite every friends and relatives by moving front and back.
