Dearest all,

 

AzhwAr enjoyed him as the “uNNum sOru, paruhum neer;

he finds that it is difficult to do justice to

completely praise His kalyANa guNas.

pugazhvadhaam – how will they praise?

Mudhalvanaay- Paravasudevan

Moovaril oruvanai- The first of the Trio, Sri

MahaVishNu,

ulagam koNda- in one avathAram measured the whole

universe and owned

kOvinai- always our Sarva Swami;

kudanthai mEya- One who is in Thirukkudanthai;

kurumaNi thiraLai- the collection of huge most

beautiful pearls and gem stones- like divinely

beautiful

inbam paavinai- He is like the melodious pleasing

songs;

pacchai thaenai- fresh honey like Lord;

paim ponnai- Like the shining golden form;

amarar senni poovinai- He is the like the flowers that

adorn the heads of Nithyasuris and Devas; our Lord

pugazhum thoNdar- thus praise the bhagawathas (His

ardent darling devotees)

en solli- how many ways they describe Him (and still

are not able to do justice).

 

The beings need to come to Me and need to get saved-

Thus the Lord, the moksha granter, Mukundan,

Paravasudevan decided and retained the portfolio of

saving and protection with Him. When Mahabhali ruled,

He got the kingdom back and handed over to Devendra

and devas. Though He himself is the king, He handed

over the kingdom. Thus not only His Parathvam is

established in protecting them; His Sowlabhyam is

shining with His showing Himself grandly in

Thirukkudanthai so easily accessible to everyone to

enjoy Him. He is the congregation of gem bedecked

pearls; In whatever and however many ways, one

describes Him, ArAvamudhan, the insatiable nectar,

drawing parallel to the best and most valuable

objects, it is not enough. One can call Him, honey,

flower, milk, gold, or something new that they love. I

don’t know how those bhagawathas describe Him and in

what all ways.

 

Lord " s Paratvam (Para vasudeva Tattvam) and Sowlabhyam

(Easy accessibility ) are saluted here. Azhwaar

describes the Lord

of Thirukkudanthai with choice eulogies and then says

that both he and the Bhakthas are at a loss to find

words to adequately praise Him.

 

Ulagam koNda kO- The One who measured the whole

Universe and got it back; OR it may also means that

‘the One who is accepted as SarvEshwaran, when He had

measured;

 

Moovaril mudhalvan- He is the Supreme among the

Chathurmukha Brahma, Rudran and VishNu.

Oruvan- He is the Only One- unparalleled, Supremo. Or

He is the One who has become the Three, by being their

indweller and controls them at all times.
