SrImathE Gopaladesika Mahadesikaya nama:

Dearest all,

Not only for the objects, He is also the place and

residence of all kalyANa guNas, and hence He is the

ruler and the Lord for these guNAs as well as the

fruits that He grants to us;

immaiyai maRumai thannai

emakkuvee tAki ninRa,

meymmaiyai virin^tha sOlai

viyanthiru varangkam mEya,

semmaiyaik karumai thannaith

thirumalai orumai yAnai,

thanmaiyai ninaivA renRan

thalaimisai mannu vArE. 7

immaiyai maRumai thannai- The fruits in this world as

well as in the upper world

emakku- for us (Paramaikaanthin- those who do not want

anything other than the Lord only)

veedu aagi ninRa- He is the mOksham;

meymmaiyai- the SThira Purushaarttham (He is the Only

Final Firm Goal)

virittha sOlai – the vast garden filled

viyan – the most beautiful

Thiruvarangam- Srirangam divya desam

mEya seymmaiyai – the Arjava guNa that is resplendent

in Him

karumaiyai- the dark coloured attribute in His divya

mangaLa vigraham

thirumalai- In Thiru vEnkata mountain

orumayaan thanmayai- He is there for both the upper

world and the lower world to see at One place as Only

One unparalleled

ninaivaar- Those who think of Him as above

en thalaimisai mannuvaar- would be placed on my head

Those who contemplate on Him, think oh Him at all

times – I bow down to their feet and praise them.

PrasnOpanishad says: The praNavam- if someone utters

as one syllable (in one maathra) and meditate on

Brahman, he is blessed with the fruits in this world;

if they utter in two maathras and contemplate /

meditate on Brahman, they are blessed with heaven and

other fruits; for those who utter praNavam in three

mathras (moonRu maathrai uLLena vaangi) and meditate

on Paramapadha Vasudevan, are granted moksha. “ Hence

AzhwAr immediately thinks of the praNava vimaanam Sri

Ranga Divya desam.

He is the One who is there at Thirumalai where the

devas and the humans assemble to pay their obeisance

and prostrate. He is the dark coloured Lord.

Immai and maRumai are not permanent; Only moksha is.

He removes all the hurdles for His devotees to enable

them to attain moksham. He slowly brings them and

blesses them with jnAnam to understand that He alone

can grant moKsham. He is mOksha pradhan; Mukundan;

His Arjava guNa is referred to meymmai.
