By His excellent qualities and simplicity, the Lord makes the devotees determined not to approach anyone else other than Himself. “churunguRi veNNey thoduvuNda kaLvanai, vaiyyamuRRum orunguRa uNda peruvayiRRALanai mAvalimAttu irungkuRaLaki isaiyavOr moovadi vENdicchenRa perungkiRiyAnai allAl adiyEn nencham pENalathE.” (I am His servant! My heart will not solicit anyone else other than the Lord, Who stealthily took away the butter collected and saved in a secured pot kept hanging from the ceiling, Who swallowed all the worlds leaving nothing into His wide stomach, Who tactfully approached Emperor mahAbhali as a dwarf and begged just three feet of land from him.) 92. Not only by His qualities, but even through His forms, He does likewise. “nin moorthi palkooRRilonRu kANalumAm kol?” (Can anyone see at least one of the many aspects of Your form?) 93. He blesses the seers who praise Him by His names and meditate on His form. “kAlai nanj~nAnatthuRai padinthAdik kaNpOthu ceithu mAlai nanAvil koLLAr, ninaiyAr avan maippadiyE.” (There are many who do not even think of the Lord’s dark form; nor worship Him in the evening uttering His names with devotion closing their eyes; nor do they immerse themselves in spiritual knowledge.) [The implied message is that only the virtuous few will devote themselves in these activities and get blessed by Him.] 94. Without such a spiritual knowledge, even if one utters one of His names, the Lord blesses him. “eppadi oorA milaikkak kuruttA milaikkum ennum appadi yAnum chonnEn adiyEn maRRu yAthu enbanE.” (I also worship You, like the blind cows make sounds following the cows who do so on their return to their sheds. I am Your servant, what else can I say?) 95. The Lord provides only benefits to those who surrender to Him, like a mother and a father. “yAthunum paRRi neengum virathatthai nal veedu ceyyum mAthAvinaip pithuvait thirumAlai vaNanguvanE.” (I surrender to the Consort of SrI, who is like a mother and a father, and Who made me to leave all other paths.)
