[which he also agreed in private mail]. while doing parayanam for 10 days @ 7 sargams for 9 days and on 10th day you will left with 5 sargams. also on last day the pattabhisheka sargam viz yudhdha kaandam 128th is to be done and parayanam completed. this is usual and in particular during the navarathri days. 9 days of navarathri and 10th day vijaya dasami. in north india vijaya dasami is celebrate as ravana samharam day. otherwise sriman sadagopan swamy of USA also gave a mail - may b 2years back - with specific sargams to be read and no of slokams. that may b in archives. while doing sundara kanda parayanam, the parayanam is not complete without the pattabhisheka sargam. dhasan Vasudevan MG Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
