Guest guest
SrI: Dear Sriman Rajagopal: Thank you for your mail . It is my pleasure to share this mail from you on SrI ParakAla Matam . NamO SrI HayagrivAya , V.Sadagopan *********************************** Ravi Rajagopal [rsravi] Tuesday, March 04, 2008 8:40 PM'Dr. Sadagopan'Parakalamatam Funds Needed Om Sri Lakshmi Hayagrivaya Namaha! Sriman Sadagopan, Could you please circulate this through as many Srivaishnava groups as possible, as I do not have access. Namaskaram. Adiyen Alayavalli Ravi Rajagopal Parakalamatam is the very first matam our Achrayan established, and it thrived till recently with help from the Royal family in Mysore. With the changes in the government, the disappearance of allocated land, our matam is in dire need of funds. Sri Parakala Swami has taken upon himself to renovate the peetams at Srirangam, Kanchi, and Melkote, and need our help in preserving our invaluable heritage. The peetams at Srirangam, Kanchi and Melkote are crumbling. The situation is Melkote is somber. Can you believe that there is no abishekam to Yoga Narasimhar atop the hill because the vessels were stolen? [how can we, mere mortals, living under His infinite grace, let this happen - He has bestowed us with enough wealth - Can we not return back a small percent of what belongs to Him?] Adiyen is doing what he can, but it is important to establish a grass root network and help all of us to contribute to this great cause - the matam need our support immediately. Please contact me and let's take part in this noble kainkaryam - and yet again, the merciful Hayagrivar has given us an opportunity to repay our rishi runam as well. Om Sri Lakshmi Hayagrivaya Namaha! Adiyen, Alayavalli Ravi Rajagopal +1 732 371 4757 rsravi
