Vachanam -prakthyaksham-anumAnam

 

Certain postulates can be proved by seeing -prakthayksham.

 

From certain words -Vedic verses, upanishad vAkyams and of course AzvAr aruLich cheyal,idihasam-s etc.-

-Vachanam.

 

These can be done through inferences also - anumAnam.

 

When ArjuNA mentioned about seeing the flower he worshipped with on Lord krshNA 's feet,on ParamsivA's head, it was prakthyasksham - 'pArthan theLindhozhindha paithuzhAyAn perumAi-Thiruvaimozhi 2-8-6;

 

When ParamshivA expressed surprise to Lord KrshNA that ' Oh Lord You Created the whole worlds and what a joke that YOu need a boon for begetting a child ? ' this was vachanam.

-'kaLvA emmaiyum yEAz vulgum nin vuLLEA ThOTRiya iRAva enRu vEL yEARan..'ThiruvAimozhi 2-2-10;

Going by the same analogy PeriyAzvAr mentions that even ParamisvanAr full of knowledge (NuNNaRivin nElAr kaNdathammAn) and BrahmA cannot understand EmperumAn

 

'OTRai vidayanum nAnmuganum vunnai aRiyap perumAyOnEA'4-10-4 of PeriyAzvAr Thirumozhi.

 

 

Sri MaNavALa mAmunikaL quotes a verse cum vachanam to establish this:

 

'yanna DhEVA namunayOA nasAham nacha sankara:-JAnanthi paramESasya that VishNOA;paramam padham'

 

These were the words of BrahamA who expressed that neither him nor ParamsivA or others can understand the Lord.
