Release Announcement - Swami Desikan and Thiruvaimozhi

Dear BhakthAs ,

 

The ahobilavalli team is pleased to announce the release of the 90th eBook in ahobilavalli series –“Swami Desikan and Thiruvaimozhi”.

 

This is about Swamy Desikan's deep reverence for Swamy NammAzhwAr's Prabhandhams in general and

ThiruvAimozhi in particular. With the power of His brilliant insights in to ThiruvAimozhi Paasurams , Swamy Desikan identified the individula KalyANa guNams associated with each of the thousand plus ThiruvAimozhi Paasurams. In a SrI Sookthi named " DhramiDOpanishad Taatparya RathnAvaLi ",Swamy Desikan housed all

these insights for our benefit . In another shorter SrI Sookthi named "DhramiDOpanishad Saaram ",Swamy Desikan blessed us with a higher level ( macro level) analysis of the meanings of the ThiruvAimozhi Paasurams . This Sri Sookthi will be covered in a seperate ebook . Sriman Narasimhan Krishnamachari Swamy will be covering in great detail individual slOkams of " DhramiDOpanishad Taathparya RathnAvaLi" in yet another set of ebooks to follow . He has just completed the first 100 ( Mudhal Patthu) of Swamy NammAzhwAr's ThiruvAimozhi paasurams as analyzed by Swamy Desikan .

The Great Team and SrImAn SaThakopan:

 

I just received the mail announcing the release of 'SvAmi DeSikan and

TiruvAimozhi'. Like a child, my first desire as always in all these

releases, was to go through all the pages quickly, just looking at the

beautiful pictures of PernumAL and TAyAr. Without even having looked

at the contents yet, the book gives an absolutely superb joy, looking

at the divya tirumEni pf PerumAL and TAyAr. Now I am going to go

through the detailed write-ups. In a sense, I wish I had the resource

of your knowledge available to me before I completed the write-up on

the first pattu. But it is never too late for me to learn, and so I

look forward to going through your detailed write=up and learning even

more about AzhvAr and about svAmi DeSikan's works. My prayers to the

Divya Dampati-s to bless you with a long and productive life of

continued kai'nkaryam to Them.
