After conducting the weekly celestial bath to the Lord on Friday morning, the ornament was adorned to the Presiding deity of Lord Venkateswara, temple sources said adding that the garland called as Sri Lakshmi Kasula (coins) Haram worth about Rs.17 million (Rs.1.7 crore) was handed over to the TTD higher-up by the Devotee, Mr. Rajendra along with his family members at the temple last night. On April 7, Mr. P. Pratap Reddy, CMD of Penna Cements in Andhrapradesh had donated a pair of diamond studded golden palm shields called as Kati Hastham and Abhaya Hastham worth about Rs. 5 crore to Lord, the sources said. Andhrapradesh Chief Minister, Dr. Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy too has sent an offering of a golden neck ornament weighing about 1.5 Kg through TTD Chairman , Mr. B.
