year's ChAthurmAsyam of Srimad Azhagiya Singar

at Ahobila KshEtram this year .

 

For the Past 4 years , the overseas SishyAs

from USA , Singapore , Indonesia , Australia and

India have been sponsoring individual days of

the 60 days of ChAthurmAsyam

of Srimad Azhagiya Singar .

 

As you all know , SanyAsis have to stop their

sanchArams during the 2 months after VyAsa

PourNami ( July 18 this year ) to obseve the ChAhurmAsya

Vratham , stay at one place and attend to their yathi

duties ( Bhagavath AarAdhanam , Grantha KaalakshEpams ,

sishya RakshaNam and special Kaimkaryams

that could not be carried out during the intense

sanchArams during the rest of the year ) .

 

During the two months of ChAthurmAsyam ,

the sishyAs are gratedul to cover the daily expenses of

NithyArAdhanam for all the Murthys at the Silver

Mantapam , TadhiyArAdhanam , Bikshai

for Srimad Azhagiya Singar and sambhAvanai for

special KaalakshEpams ( Completion of Sriranga

Gadhyam this year via teleconference ) .

 

Sriamath Azhagiya Singar has chosen Ahobila

KshEthram this year for His ChAturmAsyam .

While there , He will be helping to speed up

the construction of a new SrI Agraharam named

appropriately Nava Ahobilam to create the new

infrastructure to help future visitors to visit

the Dhivya Desam of Ahobilam comfortably .

The mahimai of Ahobilam is beyond description

for all SrI VaishNavAs .SrI Matam came into being here

and BhagavAn Narasimhan out of His infinite Dayaa

created the noble Ahobila Matam Guru Paramparai .

 

Thirumagai AzhwAr has described movingly

the Vaibhavam of this dhivya dEsam , which

even until recently was difficult to visit .

Each sishya during the ChAthurmAsyam

sponsors a day or two . 42 out of the 60

days have been sponsored as of now .

It costs 250$ for each day of sponsorship.

The support funds are sent to Sri Ahobila Matam , India

directly or thru Ahobila Matam North America

thru its Treasurer ,Srihari Raghavan

at Newark, CA . He sends the recieved funds to

SrI Matam India for sponsorships on days chosen by

the family of SishyAs . Srimadh Azhagiya Singar performs

ArAdhanam that day , recieves Bikshai and covers

the TadhiyArAdhanam for the day . As you might know ,

SrI Matam TadhiyArAdhanams are attended by

a large number of SishyAs and Nrusimha BhakthAs

every day . Bhagavath PrasAdham is distributed

to all .

 

The support funds from overseas or India are tex deductible .

The sponsors recieve Phala MantrAkshathai from

Srimad Azhagiya Singar direcrly .
