Following is a smallreport on the toilet facilities at Sriperumbudur.Sanitary Facility: Toilets at Sriperumbudur are beingregularly taken care of and maintained. I payRs.1000/- every month to the caretaker. The caretakercollects Re.1/- from all pilgrims using thefacilities. This money is used to buy cleaningliquids and other requirements for maintenance. The pilgrims were quite less this year at the festivalwhen compared to the previous years. The toiletfacility was of great help to pilgrims hailing fromthe lower strata in society and for those who stayedfor all 10 days at the festival. Some local peoplewere against the idea, but now the same people haveapproached our team and have expressed theirappreciation.
