Idhu thangum idamaam indha samsaarak kadal soozhndha udal. Idhil kadal soozhndha ilankaiyaip pOl dheenamaana dhasaiyil irukkum jeevaathmaa ippOdhu hanumaanaip pOnRa aachaaryaraal ellaam aRivikkappadavE theLivuRRu naadhanip peRuvadhu thiNNam enRa nambikkaiyudan adhaiyE pEsi varubaval aagiRaal " . – [please refer page 76 of SS book sri swamy] A rough translation - " The mind with its 10 functional agents or components [indhriyaas] is like the 10 headed raavaNa full of pride. That mind stays in this body, which is like the ocean of life [samsaarak kadal]. He, that mind, who is like seethaa when imprisoned in that lanka receives all important information about her husband raama, from an aachaarya like hanumaan, became clear, and she started believing she will get back her husband, and like that starts talking about that alone " .
