[Vaideekam] Doubt about varusha aptigam - sevakaalam

 

 

SrI:Srimathe lakshmi narasimhane namahasrimathe srivan adivansatagopa yathindra mahadesikaye namaha.Adiyen has doubt about the sevakalam after varushaptikam.Seems there are two ways of doing this.one the next of aaptikamtwo before performing the aaptikamwhich is correct and as per shastramdasan desikan***Dear Sriman Sadagopachar swamin,Regarding Apthika Sevakalam,people are always confusing this by comparing with the 'iyal Sevakaalam'.Purpose of the both are very very different.A) 'Iyal Sevakaalam' is done as a very tiny and model preview of the 'Upacharam' being done by the 'Aadhi vaahikaas' for the 'Atma' which traveling through 'Archiraadhi gadhi' to 'Paramapadham' .Reference : 1. "Thiruvai mozhi - Suzhvisumbanimukil" - "Vedha nal vaayavarvelviyul maduththalum, ... madanthaiyar vaazhthalum marutharum vasukkalum... thodarndhengum thothiram sollinar" .... all the ten paasurams are describing this upacharams only.

"Adhikaara sangraham" -- Paasuram no : 28,"Nadaipera angi pahal oli naal uththaraayanam aanduidaivarukaatriravi iravin pathi, min, varunankudaiyudai vaanavar kon, prajapathi, endrivaraalidai idai bhogangal yeidhi ezhirpatham earuvare "So many references are there,So, performing vedha prabanda, other paarayanams on the day of subha sweekaram is a model upacharam done assuming the atma is present in the'Velli Sombu'.But,2. Apthika, prathyaabthika sevakaalams:It is a part of chradham, which should be done on every year chradham.

Because we are - Vedha, Prabhanda - 'Ubhaya vedhanthi'We should perform every day aaraadhanam with minimum nithyanusandhana part of Vedham and prabandam for aaraadhanam, but we don't have time so, we curtailed / minimized it to "That vishno : " vedha panchathi and "chitransiru kaale, vanga kadal" prabanda paasurams.But in the day of chradham, we should perform ubhaya veda paarayanam to some extent. So, atleast for the first year "Varusha Aapthikam" we are doing it elaborately.Most of the gruhasthas are not understanding the difference between "Subha sweekaaram" and "Apthika dhathiyaaradhanam". Doing seva kaalam on the day of Apthika dhathiyaaradhanam" is meaning less.dasan,nvs
