On Aug 14, 2008 ( Aadi PoorAdam ) ,

the 92nd Thirunakshatram of Villivalam

Periya Swamy's will be celebrated by

the VedAnta VaavadhUka Trust

at Habibulla Road Chennai .

 

There will be Vedha PaarAyaNams

Rg , Yajus and Saama Vedhams) ,

dhivya Prabhandham recitations ,

and a Vidvath Sadas to honor the sacred

Memory of Villivalam Periya Swamy ,

(U.Ve SrI NaarAyaNAcchAr Swamy) ,

who is the elder brother of Prakrutam

SrImad Azhagiya Singar in His PoorvAsramam.

 

One hundred Vedhic Experts will participate

in the Vedha PaarAyaNam ( Aug 10-14) and

the Vidhvat Sadas will be convened on Aug 31.

 

The anticipated expenses for the celebrations

( Aug 10-14) are approximately $3,500 or

1.5 Laks Rupees .

 

Villivalam Periya Swamy's contributions

for Veda-VedAnta rakshaNam are legendary.

 

As the caring First AchAryan for Prakrutham

Azhagiya Singar , as a great scholar in NyAya,

VyAkarNa, Tarka , salakshaNa grantAs ,
